8/12/14 - West Point's stakes winning Exclusive Quality mare QUALITY LASS showed her class wiring the field in allowance company at Delaware Park. Her earnings stand at over $295,000.

8/2/14 - Good day at the track for Kirkwood prepared horses. Graded Stakes placed Moment in Dixie, by Dixieland Band, added still more black type getting up for third in the West Virginia Senate President's Cup Stakes. She is a homebred for the Phillips Racing Partnership and has over $337,000 in earnings. On the same day DAISY A DAY by Smart Strike broke her maiden in a MSW at Gulfstream. She closed willingly sprinting 5 furlongs on the turf for owner James A Perron and breeder Dr John A Chandler.

7/31/14 - Two year old U.S. Ranger filly, Bella Ranger, sailed to an easy win at Arlington in her first start. She was no worse than second, then with a couple of taps, she took over the lead and raced to the wire under a hand ride. She is owned by Susan Moulton and was bred by 2N6.

7/24/14 - Kirkwood prepared My Merry Way found her way through the next condition quickly. She broke her maiden at Delaware Park in May, ran back third in a 1X Allowance at Monmouth and scored in the same condition allowance back at Delaware Park. She raced close to the lead, took over a half from the wire and kept clear. She is owned by Tracy Farmer and was bred by WinStar. She has earned  $56,700 in 5 starts with an average of over $11,000 a start.

7/23/14 - Here come more 2 year olds! Lord Tyrion, a Discreetly Mine colt,  wired the field at Indiana Grand in a MSW. He broke sharply and then drew off to win by over 5 lengths. Lord Tyrion  was a good third at Gulfstream in his first start. He is now owned by Dennis Farkas who purchased him at the Fasig Tipton July sale just 10 days ago. Talk about a quick return on your investment! He was bred by Carl Pollard.

7/21/14 - Nice work for Kirkwood prepared ULANBATOR. Going out in trainer Ian Wilkes' second set under regular rider Julien Leparoux, Ulanbator (Offlee Wild) completed four furlongs in :48.02, the seventh fastest of 58 horses at the distance yesterday. The dark bay is expected to make his next start in Saturday's GII Jim Dandy S. at Saratoga

7/19/14 - Kirkwood trainee UNAVENGED , m, 5, Empire Maker-Naughty Natisha, by Known Fact strikes again, winning the Adatara S at Fukushima for owner Taiki Farm and breedeers Dr William B Wilmot & Dr Joan M Taylor. Lifetime Record: 15-5-3-0, $819,010

7/10/14 - Kirkwood prepared two year old first time starter, Cleveland Sound, was a game winner at Delaware Park in his first start. He dueled gamely on the inside throughout and then drew off to win. He is owned by West Point Thoroughbreds and was bred by Vegso Racing. Watch for this one.

7/5/14 - A homebred for Mary Ann Charlston, Ulanbator jumped into graded stakes company for the second time and overcame a stumble at the start to gain more black type running third in the G3- Dwyer S at Belmontl. His record stands at 8: 1-2-3.

7/4/14 - West Point's MSW AWESOME VISION lost by a nose in the Genesee Valley Breeders' Stakes at Finger Lakes. He was carried wide as the winner drifted out and just missed. He was bred by Kaz Hill Farm & Adena Springs. He has earned over $370,000 for his connections.

She won that race and the next three too - including her first stakes win in the Saylorville Stakes at Prairie Meadows. She has earned $238,293 lifetime. 6/13/14 - The 3 year old Tapit filly Grey Light won her debut start the VODACOM DURBAN JULY YOUNG DESIGNER AWARD, a Maiden race going 1400m at Greyville, South Africa. This is the filly Kip fell in love with at the CAPE PREMIER YEARLING SALE and could not resist. Sounds like a good thing he raised his hand!

6/14/14 - A homebred for Mary Ann Charlston, Ulanbator jumped into graded stakes company and gained black type running second in the G3- Matt Winn S at Churchill. He rallied wide to get up for the place. His record stands at 7: 1-2-2.

6/7/14 - Multiple stakes placed Every Way almost got the win in the Minnesota H B P A Distaff S. She lost by a head and was over 7 lengths ahead of the third place finisher. 5/30/14 - Kirkwood prepared 2 year old filly Unbridled Reward by Warrior's Reward romped by 7 3/4 lengths in her debut in a $44,000 Maiden Special Weight at Churchill. She was named a TDN "Rising Star". She is owned by John Oxley  and was bred by Hargus and Sandra Sexton . See race video

5/25/14 -
SW and graded stakes placed RECEPTA, f, 3, Speightstown - Honor Bestowed for the Phillips Racing Partnership and Pam Gartin, added more black type to her pedigree running second in the Wonder Again S at Belmont. She has earned over $4140,000 for her connections. On the same day Durango Flier rallied despite a bump in the stretch to break his maiden at Santa Anita. He is owned by Zietz Stables Inc and wass bred by -B&B Zietz Stables. To add to the excitement, Rosie My Way won at Monmouth raising her earnings to almost $130,000.

5/19/14 - The last hip through the ring on day 1 of Timonium hit the jackpot for Kirkwood, bringing $255,000. The NY Bred daughter of Flatter had breezed impressively in 21.4. 5/11/14 - It was a good day at the races for Kirkwood prepared horses. Four year old gelding ERIUGENA (IRE)( Shirocco (GER) - Novelina (IRE), by Fusaichi Pegasus) split foes and took his second allowance race in a row. This time he won at Churchill and by over 4 lengths. He is owned by the Ramseys and was bred by Kevin & Meta Cullen and has earned $120,815 for his owners.

Also at Churchill, Three year old DUVAL by Kodiak Cowboy came wide and drew clear to break his maiden by 3 3/4 lengths. He has been knocking at the door and in fact has not been off the board in his previous starts. 4/18/14 - Multiple stakes placed Moment in Dixie added still another stakes placing in the Hilliard Lyons Doubledogdare S at Keeneland this time a G3 . She surged from a 6 wide position and was gaining at every stride to miss by a neck. She is a homebred for the Phillips Racing Partnership and has $$322,850 in earnings.

4/17/14 - As a 2 year old,
Recepta, f, 3, Speightstown - Honor Bestowed was an exciting first out MSW winner at Saratoga for the Phillips Racing Partnership and Pam Gartin.
