3rd place for Scholar Athlete at Woodbine

West Point Thoroughbred’s 2-year-old Einstein colt SCHOLAR ATHLETE broke his maiden in September at Woodbine. Stepping up into stakes company, he ran a gamely 3 or 4 wide to garner the show position in the $250,000 Coronation Futurity going 1 1/8 on the all weather track.  He is trained by Graham Motion.

Bayou Banker graduates at Churchill

West Point owned two-year-old Super Saver colt BAYOU BANKER graduated at Churchill in his 3rd start. The Louisiana-bred colt established an early lead on the inside and wired the field to win by 2 lengths. He is trained by Dallas Stewart and was bred by  DocAtty Stables, LLC.

Ourtaleoftwocities graduates at PARX

Ourtaleoftwocities, a three-year-old Temple City gelding, graduated at PARX.  He has 2 seconds and 3 thirds, but when he decided to get the job done, he went right to the lead and wired the field, winning with an over 6 length margin. He is owned by Scott DiDomenico and was bred by Mary Brockman.

GMB Racing colts sweep at Churchill Downs

Two year old More than Ready colt TOM’S READY had wired the field to graduate at Churchill Downs at the end of September. Running back in the Street Sense Stakes, he swung wide and then found a seam inside and was a gaining second for his trainer Dallas Stewart. He is owned by GMB Racing. Congrats to GMB Racing who also had the winner, Uncle Mo colt MO TOM.

Egyptian Honey breaks her maiden at Indiana Grand

The well named two year old filly, EGYPTIAN HONEY, (Pioneerof the Nile–Chief’s Honey) pressed the pace and then took over at will and broke her maiden  easily by 6 1/2  lengths in a MSW at Indiana Grand. The race was originally scheduled at a mile on the turf but came off the grass to be run at a mile and 70 in the slop. She is owned by Tracy Farmer and was bred by Mike Abraham.
